There are many costs associated with running a successful marching band program and ensuring that students can perform on a competitive level as well as enjoy an amazing marching band experience. Some of these costs include music preparation, drill, uniforms, costumes, props, transportation, instructors, events, competitions, ect. “Fair Share” is the term bands use to identify each student’s equal “share” of those costs.
